Ok so this section is where any recruitment for online gaming will be. One thing that should be know is that there are 2 types of online role-playing: Freeform and System-Based.
Freeform is best done in a chat because there are no dice and no game mechanics. It's basically characters interacting with characters. For this type of game we have a chat room and as we get more players and games going there will be a schedule for the chat room posted on the calendar. Keep in mind that AIM, Windows Messenger, Yahoo Instant Messenger and ICQ are also available for Freeform games.
System-based is best done in a post by post setting because what happens (usually) is the GM/DM/whoever is running the game posts the scene and what is happening then each player in the game posts a response and actions their characters take.
No matter what type of game you are running it would be best to specify what type of game it will be in the recruitment thread along with setting and other pertinent information. Once a game idea has at least 4 characters, contact either Ripoff, Revan or myself about making a thread for your game.
Game proposals should include what system is in use, the name of your thread, thread description and sub-boards (if any) that you need and whether or not it is freeform or system-based.
Example: Say I am running an MURPG game that has 4 people interested.
System in use: MURPG
Name of thread: Shadows of Alexandria
Thread description: What's more important...the world we live in or those who inhabit it?
Sub-Folders: Archives (past adventures) Shadows (Character Sheets)
System-based or freeform: System-based
